Hunting 2011

Jer and I were able to get away for a short hunting weekend a couple of weeks ago. Hunting has been a passion of mine since I started my freshman year of high school, and we haven't been able to go in awhile. Jer and I drove 7 hours to get here to Southeastern Oregon to hunt with my Dad and a couple of his buddies. We have not had that much time to talk uninterrupted in years.

This is the make-shift lean-too that my dad built for me my freshman year of high school, so I could have a private place to go to the bathroom. This has been there for 12 years now and was still mostly intact.

We saw a lot of these....

My Dad's friend Greg got a nice buck the day we had to leave. Too bad we didn't see it first :) Better luck next year.
